Duchscher Kapperud Insurance currently has an opening for a Front Desk Insurance Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for being the first line of contact for clients in our lobby and will also be responsible for answering phones and directing the calls.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, determines their needs, check appointments, and direct them to the proper associate.

  • Receive all in-coming telephone calls to the Agency and refer call to the proper person or voicemail.

  • Take accurate telephone messages for Agency personnel as necessary.

  • Assist Agency personnel to initiate telephone calls, as necessary.

  • Manage the reception area to maintain a professional image.

  • Accept payments from customers.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Preferred
Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant office experience.

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field.

  • Must be proficient in a variety of computer software applications.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Possession of strong organizational skills.

  • Must be able to answer and forward calls using office phone system.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

  • Able to work collectively with the other Agency personnel.
